Nicolas Matienzo studied Chemical Engineering at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and attended several specialization courses at the University of North Florida and other institutions in the United States and Argentina.
He held a number of senior management positions with Dow Chemical and Goodyear Argentina and after that was Vice President & Managing Director, Latin America, for Ryder System Inc., a global leader in logistics and transportation solutions. He was responsible for all of the Company's operations in Latin America, Company Officer and Member of Ryder Integrated Logistics Strategic Council.
Throughout his career, Mr. Matienzo has received distinctions for his management of inventories, human resources, administration and price control systems.
Mr. Matienzo was invited lecturer in institutions such us: World Economic Forum, Mercosur Summit, Agrobusiness and Food Industry Summit, Supply Chain Management Seminars, Ohio and North Florida Universities, U.A.D.E. (Argentine University of Business), Universidad Austral, Universidad de Ciencias Sociales y Empresariales,etc.
He has been Member of the Trade Committee and Alternate Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina, Member of Board of Directors of the Chamber of Manufacturers – Pharmaceutical Products and Argentine Negotiator, Pharmaceutical products. A.L.A.L.C. (Latin America Free Trade Agreement), Representative of the Health Industry in the Honorary Advisory Committee for Exports – Secretary of Industry and Commerce. |
